At his request, no service will be held for Robert A. Cathcart, 62, who passed away at his home in Douglas, Wyoming on Thursday, March 8, 2012, after an extended battle with cancer.
Bob was born December 8, 1949, in Worland, Wyoming the son of Junior “Allen” and Frances “Doralena” (Morris) Cathcart. He moved with his family to Douglas in 1955, where he continued his schooling, graduating from Converse County High School in 1969. After graduation he enlisted in the Wyoming National Guard, serving six years. He then worked in mining and construction for the rest of his life until ill health forced his retirement in 2011.
He is survived by his wife, Kay; one son, Chris; and three brothers, Jim, Tim and Marty, all of Douglas.
He was preceded in death by his mother on November 5, 1999, and his father on October 31, 2009.
He was a son, brother, father, husband, and friend.
Gorman Funeral Homes – Converse Chapel of Douglas was in charge of the arrangements.
