No funeral services will be held for Gary Wayne “GrapeApe” “Juice” Hanley, 61.
God called Gary home at 8:37 P.M. Sunday, July 23, 2017 at the Platte County Memorial Hospital in Wheatland, Wyoming.  At the time of his passing he was surrounded by not only family and friends, but all who held him within their hearts.
Gary was born Saturday, August 20, 1955 the son of Guy W. and Mary Louise (Walsh) Hanley in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania.  When he graduated from high school in 1973 he entered the United States Army and served his country with honor for 22 years.  He met the love of his life, Evelyn R. “Ev” Kissel in 1988.  He drove semi for several years before he made the decision to work staying closer to home and took a position with Wyoming Department of Transportation (WyDOT).
He loved classic cars and followed the Pittsburgh Steelers passionately.  He was a “true” Steeler fan.
He was a loving husband to his wife, Ev; wonderful father to his children, Brandon (Bobbi) Hanley, Shilo (Rocky) Weber, and Lacie (John) Mastin; and as well as an awesome papa to Jenna, Joselyn, Eathan, Zoey, Brynlee, Devin, Tyrell, Wyatt, Kaylee, and Hailie.  He is also survived by his mother, Mary Louise (Nevin) Fillmore; step mother, Linda R. Hanley; his sister, Roz (Rebel) Rebarchak; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Guy, on January 31, 2015; maternal grandparents; and paternal grandparents.
He never new a stranger and always had a story to tell.  He always wanted to make everyone smile and have a good time.  He will be missed by all who knew him.
A memorial to the Gary W. Hanley Memorial Fund, 71 Twenty-fourth Street, Wheatland, Wyoming 82201 would be appreciated by the family.

Ev, I am so sorry for your loss. Gary was a very fun guy. I know you will miss him very much. My prayers are with you.

So sad to hear my friend has passed, we grew up together and lived one block from each other. You will be missed Gary. Sending my prayers to your family .
