ELIZABETH "BETSY" ANNE (BROWN) FUGETT

Elizabeth Anne "Betsy" (brown) Fugett gained her angel wings on Monday, April 1, 2024, at her home in Douglas, Wyoming. Elizabeth was 64 years old.  

Elizabeth's life would seem too short to many, but those of us who were blessed to be touched by her, understand that her existence and the imprint she left on our hearts exceed the quantity of time that she stayed here.  Elizabeth was talented and adventurous in many aspects of her life. Betsy always held herself high, so she can nurture and tend to her children and grandchildren. She was proud and fulfilled with her cosmetology license and assured to always keep the license valid, she was an avid collector, and an amazing mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and friend. Betsy was born Tuesday, March 22, 1960 in Alpena, Michigan to Carol Elizabeth (Oliver) Brown and Thomas Stratton Brown. When Elizabeth wasn't cleaning her house or spending time with her grandchildren, she could be found in her room, finding all the good deals online. Not a day went by where Elizabeth didn't talk about how much her children and family meant to her--family was arguably her most important achievement in life. Elizabeth is survived by her mother, Carol Brown, of Naples, Florida; her son, Justin Michael Fugett of Douglas, Wyoming; her sister, Kim Osen of Casper, Wyoming; her brothers Gordan and David Brown of Casper, Wyoming and Bondurant, Wyoming; her grandchildren, Tyler Douglas Edelman of Douglas, Wyoming, Bayliegh Lynn Squires of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Alexander Ray Edelman of Douglas, Wyoming, Lacey Elizabeth Edelman of Tempe, Arizona; Liam Michael Fugett of Douglas, Wyoming, and countless friends. Elizabeth was predeceased by her father, Thomas Stratton, and her daughter, Amber Elizabeth Edelman.

A Celebration of Life service will be held for Elizabeth Anne “Betsy” Fugett at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, April 7, 2024 at the Gorman Funeral Homes – Converse Chapel in Douglas, Wyoming with Pastor Sara Phillippi of The Gathering officiating

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Elizabeth A. Fugett Memorial Fund in care of the Converse County Bank, P.O. Box 689, Douglas, Wyoming 82633 would be appreciated by the family.
