Funeral services for Maxine McKeehan, 91, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 9, 2017 at the Gorman Funeral Homes-Converse Chapel in Douglas, Wyoming with Pastor Donnie Holt of the First United Methodist Church officiating.  Interment will be in the Douglas Park Cemetery.
Maxine McKeehan died Monday, June 5, 2017 at the Close To Home Hospice House in Gillette, Wyoming.
She was born Thursday, November 26, 1925 in Columbus, Montana the daughter of Leslie Homer and Esther Viola (Madison) Kerr.  She was raised and educated in Absarokee, and graduated from the Absarokee High School in 1943.  Following graduation she worked at the telephone company.  She and her parents moved to Spokane, Washington where they worked in the airplane factories during World War II.  
She was married to Clyde Ewart McKeehan on May 16, 1948 in Columbus, Montana.  They owned and operated a water well drilling company and a trucking company in Park City, Montana with his father. They later moved to Laurel, Montana where they continued with these businesses.  They moved to Douglas in May, 1976 where she resided until the time of her death.
She enjoyed reading, traveling, and most of all spending time with her daughters, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Judy McKeehan of San Clemente, California and Brenda (Greg) Edwards of Gillette; grandchildren, Stacy (Art) Hazen and Scott (Michaela) Edwards all of Billings, Montana; and great grandchildren, Kylie Edwards, Kendyl Edwards, Jordan Hazen, Ashton Hazen, and Dominic Hazen.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clyde, on January 13, 1985; and her brother, Robert Kerr.
Serving as pallbearers will be Greg Edwards, Scott Edwards, Art Hazen, Steve Gulley, Dave Sea, and Trusty Matheson.
A memorial to the Leukemia Foundation, 191 Waukegan Road, Suite 105, Northfield, Illinois 60093 would be appreciated by the family.
