CAROL ZIEGLER Obituary

 

Funeral services will be held for Carol C. Ziegler, 69, at 11:00 A.M. Monday, July 29, 2019 at the Douglas Baptist Church in Douglas with Pastor Jeremy Paradowski officiating.  Interment will be in the Tobacco Valley Cemetery in Eureka, Montana.

Carol Ziegler went home to her Lord on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at the Shepherd of the Valley Healthcare Center in Casper, Wyoming.

Carol was born Sunday, January 22, 1950 in Eureka, Montana the daughter of Harrell Wayne and Helen Armistice (McLaughlin) Pluid.  She was the third of eleven children.

Carol grew up in Eureka until she was 16.  She moved to Cut Bank, Montana to live with her grandparents, Cecilia and Jack McLaughlin.

Carol moved to Glenrock, Wyoming in about 1979 with her then husband, and they later divorced.  She married John Ziegler in 1989, and they spent the rest of their married life in Douglas.

Carol worked for the nursing home in Douglas as a certified nurse assistant (CNA)  until retirement.  In her retirement years she did private elder care until 2017.

Carol had no real hobbies, but she was willing to try anything once.  She was always known for her ready smile and gentle heart.   

She is survived by her husband, John Ziegler, of Douglas; children, Nancy Miller of Kalispell, Montana and Mike Ziegler of Selah, Washington; siblings, Chuck (Bev) of Livingston, Montana, Harriet (Ray) Fournier of Twin Bridges, Montana, Mike Pluid of Columbus, Montana, Audrey Rickman of Billings, Montana, Frank (Cindy) Pluid of Anchorage, Alaska, Jack (Sue) Pluid of Eureka, Percy Pluid of Kalispell, Roberta (Mike) Skranak of Rexford, Montana, and Grace (Barry) Jensen of Vista, California; six grandchildren;  two great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews; great nieces and nephews; great-great nieces and nephews; and cousins..

Carol was preceded in death by her father, Harrell, on August 23, 2001; mother, Helen, on June 17, 2011 and infant sister, Janice Pluid, on August 12, 1953.

A memorial to the choice of the donor would be appreciated by the family.

Family and friends may call at the church on Monday from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.

Serving as pallbearers will be Trent Kaufman, Rod Lebert, Mike Skranak, RonGroh, Trent Hocket, and Brandon Werner.

The Gorman Funeral Homes – Converse Chapel of Douglas, Wyoming is in charge of the arrangements.
