CHARLES EUGENE JONES

A funeral liturgy will be held for Charles Eugene Jones, 84, at Saint James Catholic Church in Douglas, Wyoming on Friday, August 30, 2019 at 10 A.M. with Father Demetrio Penascoza as the Celebrant.  A Vigil for the Deceased will be held at the Gorman Funeral Homes – Converse Chapel in Douglas on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at 7:00 P.M.  Interment will be in the Douglas Park Cemetery.

Charles E. Jones passed away peacefully at his home in Sheridan Wyoming on Monday, August 26, 2019.  He was born on Tuesday, January 29, 1935 the son of Chester Harold and Susan Victoria (Smith) Jones..  He was married to Julie A. (Berry) Jones formally of Glendo, Wyoming for the last 63 years.

Charles is survived by his wife, Julie Jones, of Sheridan; children, Avery T. (Vicki) Jones of Grand Forks, North Dakota, Bruce A. (Cathy) Jones of Douglas, Carla S. (Glen) Barhaug of Sheridan, and Peter E. (Randy) Jones of Pawling, New York; siblings, Dixie Osborne of Yorba Linda, California and David Jones of Rapid City, South Dakota; thirteen grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Brian M. Jones, on June 5, 1993; and brother, William Jones.

The Gorman Funeral Homes – Converse Chapel of Douglas, Wyoming is in charge of the arrangements.
