DALERAY MADEWELL Obituary

A funeral service for Daleray Madewell, 47, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, February 16, 2012 at the Fort Reno Building at the Wyoming State Fairgrounds in Douglas, Wyoming.
Daleray Madewell a resident of Douglas died Thursday, February 9, 2012 near Morgan, Utah due to results of injuries received in a small airplane accident.
Daleray was born November 6, 1964 in Farmington, New Mexico the son of Jimmy Ray Madewell Sr. and Lila Gene “Judy” (Smith) Kent.  He was raised and educated in Douglas, graduating from the Douglas High School in 1983.  He began working in oilfield construction, eventually owning and operating Madewell Inc.  He was the owner and operator of Double D Liquor Store and multiple rental properties in Douglas at the time of his death.  He enjoyed spending time with his five children and girlfriend, hunting, his gun collection, playing cribbage, and card games.  Daleray’s greatest enjoyment was flying his airplane to help others in need, working on his 55 yellow Chevy, and spending time with his family and friends.  
He was very active in Pilots for Christ, and had recently been elected to the board of directors.  He was a very generous donor to many causes, especially in Douglas.  He was a member of the SFW and Turkey Federation.
He had taken a fishing trip to Alaska, which he thoroughly enjoyed, and was planning an African Safari in March with his best friends.
Daleray died in total peace, everything was right with all who he loved and was associated with.
He is survived by his significant other, Denise Tutor, of Douglas; parents, Judy and Ross Kent of Douglas; father, Jimmy Madewell Sr. of Farmington; children, Sadie Madewell of Laramie, Wyoming, Braedon Madewell of Douglas, Wyatt Madewell of Black Hawk, South Dakota, Samuel Murphy of Douglas, and Rhianna Tutor (Madewell) of Douglas; siblings, Christine (Dave) Sanderson of Douglas, Beckie (Eric) Oliver of Douglas, and Jimmy (Cari) Madewell Jr. of Farmington; eight nieces and nephews; and multiple aunts, uncles, and cousins..
Serving as pallbearers will be Tyler Sanderson, Blake Sanderson, Brock Oliver, Chase Oliver, Samuel Murphy, Braedon Madewell, Wyatt Madewell, Kaelie Oliver, Dalton Madewell, and Kaleigh Madewell.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be his loving family and friends.
