A graveside service and inurnment for Jean Evelyn Klinger, 91, will be held at the Fairview Cemetery in Williamstown, Pennsylvania at a later date.
Jean Klinger died Saturday, March 9, 2019 at the Douglas Care Center in Douglas, Wyoming.
Jean was born Monday, January 16, 1928 in Williamstown, Pennsylvania the daughter of Thomas L and Mary B. (Jones) Calnon. She was raised and educated in Williamstown and graduated from the Williamstown High School in 1946.
She was married to Robert L. Klinger on July 8, 1950 in Elizabethville, Pennsylvania.
Jean worked as a secretary for twenty-two and half years at the Williams Valley Junior and Senior High School. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Williamstown and a member of the Williams Valley Community Choir.
Jean enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, David (Joann) Klinger of Wyoming, Brad (Bonnie) Klinger of Pennsylvania, and Wendy Mahoney of Virginia; grandchildren, Dana (Jason) Mione of Colorado, Ryan (Melissa) Klinger of Wyoming, Jeremy (Melissa) Klinger of Pennsylvania, Staci (Nick) Mickley of Pennsylvania, Maria (Brian) Leventhal of Virginia, and Caitlyn Mahoney of Colorado; great grandchildren, Brayden, Bennett, Brenna, Finley, Harper, Reagyn, Lixkin, Brynlee, and Reis; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; grandson, Adam Klinger; brother, Leroy Calnon; and son-in-law, Jim Mahoney.
A memorial to the Immanuel Lutheran Church, 134 East Street, Williamstown, Pennsylvania 17098 would be appreciated by the family.
