JOHN CHARLES ZIEGLER

Services will be held for John Charles Ziegler, 77, Saturday August 17, 2019 at the Schnackenber Nelson Funeral Home in Eureka, Montana. Interment will be at the Tobacco Valley Cemetery in Eureka. 

John went home to his Lord on Wednesday, August 7 2019 at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming.

John was born Friday, June 26, 1942 to Charles B. and Goldie F. (Wagner) Ziegler in Junction City, Kansas. He had one brother, Frank Dwayne Ziegler. They grew up in Junction City.

John had many jobs in his lifetime, but his most memorable ones were Dow, Burlington Railroad, and Russell Construction. He was honorably discharged from the United States Marines in 1960 and the National Guard in 1963.

John married Carol C. Pluid in June, 1989. They made their home in Douglas, Wyoming.

John is survived by his two children, Nancy (Mark) Miller of Kalispell, Montana and Mike ( Rachel) Ziegler of Selah, Washington; his in laws, Chuck (Bev) Pluid, Harriet (Ray) Fournier, Mike Pluid, Audrey Rickman, Frank(Cindy) Pluid, Jack (Sue) Pluid, Perry Pluid, Roberta (Mike) Skranak, and Grace (Barry) Jensen; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

John was preceded in death by his father, Charles, on April 23, 1973; mother, Goldie, on January 30, 1966; wife, Carol, on July 24, 2019; and brother, Frank, on June 17, 1999.
