A wake service for Linda Fay Moss, 66, will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Friday, October 5, 2018 at the Northside Church of Douglas Assembly of God Church, 203 North Sixth Street, Douglas, Wyoming and a funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, October 6, 2018 at the church with Pastor Rich Cullen officiating. Interment will be at the Douglas Park Cemetery.
Linda Moss entered into rest on Monday, October 1, 2018 at her daughter’s home in Douglas,
Wyoming from a hard fought battle with breast cancer.
Linda Moss was born on Thursday, July 17, 1952 to Jesse Eugene and Erma “Arlene” (Stevens) Sturgeon in Nowata, Oklahoma.
Linda graduated from Wann High School, she attended Southwestern Bible College, Linda later
joined a mission group in Oklahoma and came to Wyoming where she met and married her
husband, Donald Lewis Moss on November 23, 1973 in Ethete, Wyoming. They with their family resided on the Wind River Reservation for 20 years before moving to Douglas in 1993. Linda worked at many places, which
included the Four Winds Motel, Douglas Budget, and H&R Block. Linda enjoyed spending time
with her husband and family on fishing trips and loved to do needle point, crotchet, and
beadwork. Linda’s favorite thing to do was play piano and sing while her husband played guitar.
Her love will be remembered and cherished by her many grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband Donald; children, Roman Moss, Murial C’Hair, Alma (Eugene)
Piper, and Dee (Jay) Griffith; grandchildren, Emilyn (John Moskop) C’Hair, Allen Dale Moss,
Isaiah C’Hair, Dakota C’Hair, Ashley Walks, Tasha Walks, Richard Johnston, Jeremy Griffith,
Jayce Griffith, Jayson Griffith; numerous nieces and nephews; brothers, Rodney (Teresa)
Sturgeon, Steve (Stacey) Sturgeon, Leonard (Alice) Moss Sr., Nelson (Emma) Moss; sisters
Neva (Norman) Smith, Ethel (Chuck) Smith, Susanna Oldman, Rosella Moss, Ursula (Robert)
Aragon, Maxine Moss, Anita Carrier, and Gloria (Larry) Wheeler
She was preceded in death are her parents, Jesse and Arlene, Rosie B. Moss, and Herman Joseph Moss Sr.;

Moss, Richard Moss, Harold and Sylvia Moss, Alonzo and Gladys Moss, Norman and Zona

A memorial to the American Cancer Fund in care of the Converse County Bank, P.O. Box 689, Douglas, Wyoming 82633 would be appreciated by the family.
Serving as pallbearers will be Allen Dale Moss, Isaiah C’Hair, Miles John Knight, Richard Johnston, Richard Gates, and Milton Knight.
