Betty Lou James, 83, a lifelong resident of Wheatland, Wyoming passed away Friday, March 30, 2018 at the Davis Hospice Center in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Betty James was born Tuesday, March 12, 1935 in Wheatland the daughter of Robert and Rose Katherine “Rosie” (Mondragon) Scott.
She is survived by her special friend, Frank Miller of Wheatland; brother, Johnny Scott of Wheatland; sisters, Patty Johnke, Louise Roberts both of Wheatland, Darlene (Rex) Arnold of Cheyenne, Delores Goolsby Andreen of Guernsey, Margaret “Maggie” (Herb) Hatley of Donna,  Texas, and Georgia “Toots” (Warren) Grimes of Ramona, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bill James on July 31, 2000; parents, Robert and Rosie Scott; and brother, Tom Scott.
Cremation was under the direction of Gorman Funeral Homes – Platte Chapel.
Inurnment will be in the Wheatland Cemetery at a later date.  No funeral services are scheduled.
The Gorman Funeral Homes – Platte Chapel of Wheatland are in charge of the arrangements.

Our family was saddened to hear of the passing of Betty. We hope that many fond memories will lift you during your sad times and comforting words will give you the strength to cope with your thoughts in the days, months, and years to come.
