Funeral service for Stephanie Kipp Peltz, 75, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 15, 2019 at the Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church in Wheatland, Wyoming with Deacon Terry Archbold officiating.  Inurnment will be in the Wheatland Cemetery.
Stephanie Peltz passed away Friday, February 8, 2019 at her home near Wheatland.
Stephanie was born minutes after her twin brother on Tuesday, August 3, 1943, the daughter of William and Mary (McKinnon) Kipp in Lancaster, New Hampshire.
After her adventurous spirit spurred her to move west in 1964, Stephanie made fond memories working as a nanny and teaching in a one room schoolhouse in Birney, Montana. She met Hugh Peltz while attending Montana State University and the two married on December 30, 1967 in her hometown of Lancaster.
She gave birth to her daughter and son at Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield, California and the family moved to Wheatland in 1977. Stephanie worked as a teacher’s aide in local schools and was active in her church, the Platte County Fair, Library Board, Platte County Players, and many volunteer endeavors. Her loved ones valued her intellect, disarming sense of humor, creativity, and thoughtfulness.
Stephanie treasured life’s simple gifts and children, animals, books, baseball, religion, and music were among her many passions. A talented seamstress, writer, and pie maker, she cherished both her New England roots and living life in the West.
Stephanie is survived by her husband, Hugh; daughter, Mary (Steve) Peck; son, Hugh (Hilary) Peltz II; five grandchildren; brother, Charles Kipp; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and twin brother, Stephen Kipp.
Memorial donations made to Saint Joseph’s Children’s Home, PO Box 1117, Torrington, Wyoming 82240, would be appreciated by the family.
The Gorman Funeral Homes – Platte Chapel of Wheatland are in charge of the arrangements.

Peltz family, I have so many fond memories of Stephanie that I will forever cherish! My college days are some of my favorite and I'll always carry a part of my "second mom" with me. I can still hear her laugh and see her sweet smile. I know she smiles down on us all now and forever. I have you all in my thoughts and prayers today and always. Love to you all! - Tracy

What a wonderful lady, so full of life. We are so proud that we got to spend a bit of time, with Hugh and Stef, at the Western Sky's. She will be missed so, and we send all the best regards to her husband, and the rest of the family. God speed girl.

Peltz Family, we were saddened to read about Stephanie’s passing. May the many fond memories of her sustain you during this most difficult time. We pray that you find comfort in our Creator’s words, in which he promises to soon reunite us with our beloved ones in a perfect world, where the causes of pain and sorrow will be a thing of the past. How exciting it will be to see her again doing all things she loved. (Isa 25:8; Rev. 21:4) Our sincere condolences to all of you.
