Our thoughts and prayers are with Wayne and all the family,  even though we’re miles away.
Had the good Fortune to be able to talk to Wayne a couple years ago and he’s just as described in his obituary,  just like we talked every day.
He will be missed by all those he knew!

Love,
Rick and Sue

So sorry to hear the loss of Wayne. I can’t remember the last time I saw or spoke with him but my memories are full of his fighting spirit and his passion to succeed. I remember those high school years during wrestling season and the weight the kid would cut so he could dominate his opponents.

My thoughts and prayers go out to his brothers and families. The Spilinek name in McCook, NE back in the days was legendary and still is in my book!

It was truly a shock to hear of Wayne's passing. I will miss my friend. I've been remembering a lot of fun stuff we did years ago. Gorilla basketball games with his brothers behind the spud house. Many years of living in motels and eating at restaurants, life on the road away from our families made bearable by a lot of laughs. Our thoughts and prayers to the Family.Mary and Jim Carlson

Mia & family,

So sorry to hear of Wayne's passing!  What an incredibly welcoming and generous man.  I always enjoyed seeing him in town or at a sporting event because he always had a smile and was genuinely concerned with those around him.  It didn't matter if you had saw him last week or a year ago, he would always go out of his way to greet you.  You'll be missed, Wayne!  We'll be praying for you all.

I worked with Wayne many years ago on the railroad. Even though I had not been in contact with Wayne he was a great guy. I enjoyed every minute working with Wayne. My condolences to the Spilinek family.
