Betty McDaniel, 91, lovingly known as “The Avon Lady” passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at her residence in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Betty was born on Sunday, May 18, 1930 in Minneapolis, Minnesota the daughter of Martin and Emilia (Depke) Lindloff.
Betty arrived in Fort Morgan, Colorado with her husband, Leon and son, Jim in the summer of 1965. This was the beginning of a long career as Avon’s district manager. She finished her 54-year long career in local sales.
Betty was preceded in death by her mother, Emily; father, Martin Lindloff; sister, Martha Marquart; husband, James Taylor; and husband, Leon McDaniel.
She is survived by her only son, James Taylor; daughter-in-law, Vicki; grandsons, James Leon (Tina), Jeffery Allan (Patty); five grandchildren, Brittney, Michael, Katie, Austin, and Nicholas; and two great grandsons, Asa and Samson.
A family Celebration of Life is pending at this time.
