Bradley Joseph “Brad” Rasch, 61, passed from this life suddenly in Douglas, Wyoming on Saturday, April 22, 2023.
Brad was born in Rock Springs, Wyoming on Friday, February 23, 1962 the son of Albert Joseph “Al” and Vaughn Ardeth (Peters) Rasch. He graduated from Kenai Central High School in Kenai, Alaska in 1980 and went on to follow in his father’s footsteps with a lifelong career in the oilfields of Alaska.
He was a good, good man of quiet faith and a gentle soul. But he was also always that tough roughneck and told many stories of and adventures and great times in various places and friendships that will always be. He will be deeply missed by many.
Brad loved his family and many friends, dogs, beer, America, Old Rock & Roll, Chevy pickups, football (Go Broncos!), mountains, and fluffy clouds.
He is survived by his loving mother, Vaughn A. Rasch, of Douglas; the pride of his life, his children, Christian Joseph Rasch of Price, Utah and Jessica Lynn Rasch of Whitefish, Montana; granddaughters, Makaila and Katelyn Burlingame both of Whitefish; sisters, Gail (Fred) Dennison of Fairplay, Colorado and Lori (Les) Collins of Douglas; and nieces and nephews who thought the world of Uncle Brad, as well as his many true friends and oilfield brothers.
Brad was preceded in death by his father, Albert J. Rasch, on August 7, 2007.
Keeping things simple and no fuss as Brad would want, a visitation will be held at Gorman Funeral Homes-Converse Chapel from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 30, 2023 followed by a Celebration of his life at the Lori and Les Collins’ home at 11 Hoya, Douglas, Wyoming.
