Carl passed from injuries received in an oil field accident on Saturday, March 9, 2024 near Shawnee, Wyoming.
Carl was born on Tuesday, August 10, 1965 in Gillette. He spent his childhood helping his grandfather work on the ranch outside of Gillette before moving to Huntington Beach, California with his family.
Carl was raised with one older brother, Leonard, and two younger brothers, Chris and Daniel. He loved fishing, the outdoors, trucking, and especially working on his “Mistress”, which is how he referred to his Big Red Truck. Carl was a family man who enjoyed every minute with his wife, Rosalie, their children, and many grandchildren. If he wasn’t on the road working, you could find him in his shop, doing wood puzzles or reading a history book.
Carl was a simple man. He had the biggest heart and would give his last dollar to anyone in need. Carl will surely be remembered by the way he loved everybody and his sarcastic humor.
Carl is survived by is wife, Rosalie Christensen, of Douglas, Wyoming; brothers, Chris Christensen of Arizona and Daniel Christensen of California; sons, Brandon (Heather) Schipansky of Gillette and Lucas (Ali) Schipansky of Texas; daughters, Amber Christensen of Gillette and Angel (Josh) Walsh of Casper, Wyoming; many grandchildren; one great granddaughter; sister-in-law, Alicia Proctor, of California; and Victor “Pops” Davis Sr. of Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alfred Christensen Jr.; older brother, Leonard Christensen; and son Eragon Christensen.
