CAROL ANN (JUNGK) REED

Carol Ann Reed, 87, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, in Wheatland, Wyoming at the Platte County Legacy Home.

Carol was born on Thursday, July 4, 1935, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, while her parents, Victor and Lucile Jungk, were working abroad.

Carol was preceded in death by her loving husband, George E. Reed.

Carol is survived by her brother, Victor Jungk (Dottie); a niece and four nephews and their children; her son, Robert Bullock (Janice); grandsons, Jonathan Bullock (Nadine) and Michael Bullock (Ashley); two great-grandchildren, Blakley and Cameron; and her much loved cat, Garfield.

Carol was one of the founding members of Guide Rock Ltd, “The Flying X Ranch” and that was where she met the love of her life and best friend, George. They fell in love with Wheatland and moved there in 1995. Carol and George would spend much of their time either at the ranch, traveling, or playing golf. In addition to spending her childhood in the Dominican Republic, she also lived in El Paso, Teaxas, Maryland, Southern California, Puerto Rico, North Dakota, Florida, and Colorado. Carol was a gentle, caring, and giving person and will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and Garfield.

The family would like to thank the staff of Platte County Legacy Home for taking such good care of Carol during the last two years of her life.

No service is being held in Wheatland; however, a celebration of life is being planned in the near future.
