CARRIE ANN HOBBS

Funeral services for Carrie Ann Hobbs, 76, will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, November 25, 2019 at Memorial Baptist Church in Wheatland, Wyoming with Pastor Chris Furl officiating.

Interment will be held in the Wheatland Cemetery.

Carrie passed away Friday, November 15, 2019 at Life Care Center in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

She was born Thursday, February 11, 1943 in Wheatland, the daughter of Joe and Dorothy Marie (Snook) Wright. Carrie was raised and educated in Wheatland. She married Larry Leroy Hobbs on June 27, 1960 in Wheatland. She enjoyed reading, bird watching, and rides in the country. She loved her dachshunds, and adored her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and was a loving wife.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Hobbs, of Wheatland; children, Trina (Gary) Miller of Wheatland, Evelyn (Doug) Hanson of Lakewood, Colorado, and Gary (Audrey) Hobbs of Cheyenne, Wyoming; sister, Zella (John) Slagle, of Wheatland; six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Barbara Singer; an infant sister; and brother, Wayne Wright.

Serving as pallbearers will be Rick Schultz, Robert Hampton, Rick Anderson, Nathaniel Hobbs, Alan Snook, and Chris Wright. Honorary pallbearers will be Tracy Hattan, Danny Wright, Greg Slagle, and John Slagle Jr.

Memorials may be made to the Carrie Hobbs Memorial Fund, in care of First State Bank, P.O. Box 39, Wheatland, Wyoming 82201.

Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M. and on Monday from 9:00 – 11:00 A.M.
