CHAROLETTE BRITTON Obituary
Funeral services for Charolette Jean Britton, 66, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, April 20, 2019 at the Gorman Funeral Homes - Converse Chapel in Douglas, Wyoming with Pastor Donnie Holt of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in the Douglas Park Cemetery.
Charolette Britton died Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at the Central Wyoming Hospice Home in Casper, Wyoming.
She was born Thursday, April 24, 1952 in Douglas, Wyoming the daughter of Donald Dean and Dorothy Joy (Taylor) Sullivan. She was raised and educated in Casper and Douglas. She was married to Benjamin L. Britton on August 18, 1972 in Douglas.
Charolette was a homemaker, raised a family, and was the business manager for Britton Construction.
She enjoyed reading, country western music, and her dogs, Harley and Missy. She was a talented crocheter and loved going to the mountains. Charolette was very proud and dedicated to her husband, children, and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Ben Britton, of Douglas; children, James A. (Lisa) Britton of Casper, Dawn Marie Diekmann of Douglas, Lisa (Jeremy) Drang of Jacksonville, Florida; and Benjamin H. (Kim) Britton of Glendo, Wyoming; seven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Charolette was preceded in death by her father, Donald, on June 26, 1992; mother, Dorothy, on September 10, 2004; infant son, Richard Sullivan; and sister, Rose Jane Diekmann, on December 1, 1974.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jim Sullivan, Eddie Sullivan, Frank Sullivan, Larry Sullivan, Russell Hoffman, and Dale Britton.
A memorial to the Central Wyoming Hospice Home, 319 South Wilson Street, Casper, Wyoming 82601 would be appreciated by the family.
