Clarence passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at Memorial Hospital of Converse County in Douglas, Wyoming.
Clarence was born Tuesday, February 25, 1941 in Buchanan, North Dakota to Alexander “Alex” and Olga Myrtle (Lund) Peplinski. He was the nineth of ten children.
After graduation he enlisted into the United States Army for two years, then went to work for a construction company.
In January of 1966 he was still with the construction company building high power lines from Torrington, Wyoming to Nebraska.
Clarence met his wife, Connie, and they married November 26, 1966 in Torrington. They moved to Newcastle, Wyoming where he worked with the power company. He then went to work for Belle Fourche Pipeline, True Oil, for 37 ½ years. They moved to Douglas in 1974 with their two daughters, Tracy and Mary.
Clarence is survived by his wife, Connie Jean (Clarke) Peplinski of 59 years of Douglas; two daughters, Tracy (Peplinski) Hale of Douglas and Mary Peplinski of Douglas; three sisters, Clarice Quaschnick of Spearfish, South Dakota, Verna Brooks of Grand Forks, North Dakota, and Florence Mogck of Fargo, North Dakota; four grandchildren, Alex Boespflug (Sonya Ortega) of Douglas, Megan (Boespflug) Dixon and Elijah of Papillion, Nebraska, Dianna (Hale) McConnell and Justin of Chadron, Nebraska, and Eric Hale (Mckenzie Richardson) of Douglas; four great grandchildren, Adaline Parker, Greyson McConnell, Brody Ortega, and Knox McConnell; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alexander “Alex” Peplinski on October 20, 1971 and Olga Peplinski on July 16, 1963 of Jamestown, North Dakota; three sisters, Frances Fisher on December 7, 1984, Arlene Williamson on October 19, 2003, and Freida Schrade on March 30, 2012 all of North Dakota; and three brothers, Alvin Peplinski on February 2, 2007, Ernest “Ernie” Peplinski on April 12, 2011, and Edward “Eddie” Peplinski on October 27, 1947 also of North Dakota.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the choice of donor’s favorite charity would be appreciated by the family.
