Clay Beach died Thursday, July 4, 2024 at the Memorial Hospital of Converse County in Douglas, Wyoming.
He was born Saturday, September 22, 1962 in Seattle, Washington the son of Jack Lee and Aloha Lee (Smalley) Beach. He was raised and educated in Washington state, where he graduated from high school. Clay married Valeria Christine “Christy” Turner on May 19, 2001 in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho.
They moved to Douglas in 2011 and he worked for Peabody Coal, North Antelope Rochelle Mine (NARM), and as a printer for the Douglas Budget. He enjoyed fishing and camping.
Clay is survived by his wife, Christy Beach of Hay Springs, Nebraska; son, Bryan Beach of Douglas; step son, William Turner of Osborn, Idaho; siblings, Troy Beach of Alger, Washington and Rebecca Norton of Kirk, Colorado; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews scattered throughout the United States.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Aloha Swanson.
The Gorman Funeral Homes-Converse Chapel of Douglas, Wyoming is in charge of the arrangements.
