Obituary
Funeral liturgy for Connie Rodriguez, 89, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, September 23, 2023 at the Saint James Catholic Church in Douglas, Wyoming with Father Michael Carr as the Celebrant. The Vigil for the Deceased will be held at 7:00 P.M. Friday, September 22, 2023 at the Gorman Funeral Homes – Converse Chapel in Douglas. Interment will be at the Douglas Park Cemetery.
Family and friends may call at the funeral on Friday, September 22, 2023 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
Connie passed peacefully on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at her home surrounded by family and friends.
She was born Tuesday, Jully 10, 1934 in Torrington, Wyoming the daughter of Eubiges and Anna Mari (Nicasio) Prado. Connie devoted her life to raising her children, and mentoring the grandchildren. She married Paul Rodriguez, on December 28, 1961 in Torrington. Paul and Connie could be seen at various sporting events, school concerts, and family outings.
Connie leaves behind six children, Samuel Rodriguez of Wright, Wyoming, Leo (Theresa) Rodriguez of Wright, Bernadine (Jeffery) Winton of Douglas, James (Christina) Rodriguez of Wright, Arthur Rodriguez of Douglas, and Salvador (Christina) Rodriguez of Casper, Wyoming; siblings, Evangeline Carrillo of Phoenix, Arizona and Dave Prado of Denver, Colorado; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul, on November 29, 2014; four brothers; and two sisters.
Serving as pallbearers will be Bruce Winton, Samuel Rodriguez, Leo Rodriguez, James Rodriguez, Arthur Rodriguez, and Salvador Rodriguez.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Jeffery Winton and Kelly Engleman.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Douglas Senior Citizens Center, P.O. Box 192, Douglas, Wyoming 82633 would be appreciated by the family.
The Gorman Funeral Homes – Converse Chapel of Douglas, Wyoming is in charge of the arrangements.
