A memorial service for Craig Kennedy Volz, 95, will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Wheatland Bible Church with Pastor Danny Fredericks officiating. Inurnment will be at the Wheatland Cemetery.
Craig Kennedy Volz of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas went to be with his savior on Wednesday, October 7, 2020.
Craig was born Sunday, August 30, 1925 to the late Carl and Aura Kennedy Volz in Hildreth, Nebraska.
Craig graduated from Torrington High School in 1942, the University of Wyoming with a degree in Civil Engineering, and was a United States Army Air Corp Pilot Veteran, serving from 1943-1946. He owned the Ford dealership in Torrington and farmed in Lingle, Wyoming, and served and worked as a civil engineer with the United States Soil and Water Conservation Department in Wheatland and Sheridan, Wyoming. Craig was also a member of the Village Bible Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Sara; his daughter, Cindy Raish; his sister, Connie Rock; and great grandson, Miles Holton.
Craig is survived by his wife, Zonola “ZeeZee” Volz; one son, Kerry (Gayle) Volz of Wheatland; his stepchildren, Catie Rogan of Saint Louis, Missouri and David Carter of Fort Collins, Colorado; five grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; and seven step grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in Craig’s name to Arkansas Hospice Foundation, 508 Ouachita Avenue Suite A., Hot Springs, Arkansas 71909.
