DEANE "BILL" WEBER Obituary

Services for Deane William “Bill” Weber, 74, will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday, April 12, 2024 at the Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery Chapel in Evansville, Wyoming.  Inurnment will be in the Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery with military honors accorded by the Natrona County United Veterans Council and Wyoming Army National Guard Military Funeral Honors.

On Thursday, March 21, 2024, we bid farewell to Deane William “Bill” Weber, a beacon of strength, kindness, and service. His departure leaves behind a legacy marked by unwavering generosity, steadfast commitment to justice, and boundless courage.
Bill was born on Tuesday, November 8th, 1949 in Denver Colorado to Ann (Davis) and William Weber. Bill was the oldest of six. Bill grew up in Colorado before being drafted in 1970 into the United States Army as a UH-1 helicopter crew Chief. He was deployed to Southeast Asia where he was part of a dust-off unit in Vietnam. Once he returned from Vietnam, he left the Army in 1972. He met the love of his life, Tami in Colorado and moved to Douglas. He worked for Peabody Energy as a cartographer for years before they welcomed their two children. Son, Will Weber and daughter Catie Weber. Bill retired after a battle with cancer and continued to love his motorcycles and classic cars.

He is survived by his wife, Tami; children, Will and Catie; mother, Ann; brothers, John Weber, Bob Weber, and J. Patrick Weber; and sister, Shannon Weber.

Bill was preceded in death by his father, William, and sister, Lisa Degeneffe.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Bill Weber Memorial Fund in care of the Converse County Bank, P.O. Box 689, Douglas, Wyoming 82633 would be appreciated by the famly.
