Deloris was born to Howard & Olive (West) Weischedel on Thursday, September 25, 1930 on a farm in Sully County, South Dakota.

On September 18, 1949 she married Delmar Ripley in Onida and to this union five sons were born, Douglas (Kathy) Ripley, Darwin (Virginia) Ripley both of Pierre, South Dakota, Thomas (Dawn) Ripley of Caldwell, Idaho, Barry (Eva) Ripley of Wheatland, and Merlin (Kim) Ripley of Sheridan, Wyoming.

Delmar passed away in 1975 in Glendo, Wyoming.

Deloris remarried on October 2, 1989 to Walter Quaschnick in Reno, Nevada and made their home in Herreid, South Dakota.  Her ten stepchildren and grandchildren were all incredibly special to her.

Deloris had lived in Onida, Herreid, Glendo, Rapid City, South Dakota, and her final home was in Wheatland, for the last ten years.

Deloris’ faith in God was especially important to her.  She was baptized January 7, 1990 in Herreid at the Baptist Church and at the time of her death she was a member of the Memorial Baptist Church in Wheatland.

Survivors include sons, Douglas (Kathy), Darwin (Virginia), Thomas, Barry (Eva), Merlin (Kim); nine grandchildren, Richard, Amy, Brett, Alicia, Steve, Kevin, Dustin, Derek, and Tel; fourteen great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Doris Weischedel; and numerous family members of the Quaschnick side of the family.    She was preceded in death by husbands, Delmar and Walter; longtime friend, Hank; grandson, Brian; daughter-in-law, Dawn; and brother, Gerald.
