DIANA PHILPOT "DeeDee" ZWALSH-DORR

A graveside service will be held for Diana Philpot “DeeDee” Zwalsh-Dorr, 76, at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at the Glenrock Cemetery in Glenrock, Wyoming with Deacon Kevin Halvorsen of Saint Louis Catholic Church officiating.

DeeDee died at her home near Glenrock, Wyoming on Thursday, June 3, 2021.

She was born Monday, November 13, 1944 in Saint Louis, Missouri the daughter of Roman J. and Marjorie (Philpot) Zwalsh.  She lived with her mom in Missouri until age 15, when she moved to Glenrock to live with her father, Roman, stepmother, Charlotte, and family.  Diana graduated from Glenrock High School in 1962.  After returning from living three years in Alaska she was married to the love of her life, Robert A. “Bob” Dorr on January 27, 1981 in Glenrock.  They were married 29 years until Bob’s death on July 27, 2010.  She was a realtor and real estate broker for 25 years in Glenrock. 

Besides loving her home on the river, Diana grew a passion for cats, she had and cared for nine.  Murphy, her lap dog of 14 ½ years, was the reason she got up every day!

She enjoyed fine dining, knitting, reading books, the Denver Broncos, and loved sharing about her many adventures.  Diana was generous, full of life, and had a free spirit.  She will be missed by her friends and chosen family.

Diana is survived by her adopted brother, Da-i Ping of Saline, Michigan and his family; half-sister, Linda Zwalsh of Overton, Nevada and her family; Bill and Darlene Dorr and their sons, Brian Dorr and Bobby (Tera) Dorr; Brian’s children, Cole and Gabrielle; Bobby and Tera’s children, Baylie and Bay; Chuck Dorr and Margaret Morris; Dorothy Dorr and Jack Leake and daughter, Zoe Leake; nephew, Michael (Aggie) Dorr and their six children, Toni, Tia, Talia, Ava, Kennedy, and Brooklynn; niece, Lisa (John) Wiedner; and cousin, Muriel Wagner.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
