DORA McGUIRE Obituary
Dora June McGuire, 66, of Wheatland, Wyoming, died Sunday, April 8, 2012 at her home in Wheatland.
June was born in Holyoke, Colorado on January 10, 1946 the daughter of Roy D. and Wilma (Vernon) Goddard. June married the love of her life Martin McGuire on February 16, 1963 in Wheatland and they have been married for 49 years. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. June enjoyed gardening and most of all when the family would get together. June loved her grandchildren and most all spending time with them.
June is survived by her husband, Martin McGuire of Wheatland; two children, Roy McGuire and Tim (LaNell) McGuire; two grandchildren Miranda and Mitchell McGuire; sister-in-law, Bonna Goddard; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents Wilma and Roy Goddard; son, Matthew McGuire; brothers, Sam and Bill Goddard; and sister-in-law Sandra Goddard.
In lieu of flowers a memorial to the Platte County Ministry Co-op, P.O. Box 322, Wheatland, Wyoming 82201, would be appreciated by the family.
Services will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Gorman Funeral Homes – Platte Chapel of Wheatland.
