A Celebration of Life will be held for Eldred Jackson “Jack” Vines, 54, on Saturday, June 25, 2022 from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at Washington Park in Douglas, Wyoming.
Jack Vines died on Sunday, June 12, 2022 at the Memorial Hospital of Converse County in Douglas.
He was born Sunday, August 13, 1967 in Spokane, Washington the son of Rufus Edward and Wanda Kay (Want) Vines. Jack’s early education was spent in several elementary schools. The family moved to Douglas and he attended Douglas schools from the sixth grade to his graduation from the Douglas High School in 1986.
He was married to Jennifer Owens and they later divorced and he was married to Michele Santistevan and they also were later divorced.
Jack’s working career was in the oilfields where he was a heavy equipment operator and truck driver.
Jack enjoyed fishing and hunting, and he was a wrestling coach and referee. He was a devoted family man.
Jack is survived by his mother, Wanda Gates, of Douglas; father, Rufus Vines of Spokane; four sons, Adam Vines of Douglas, Andy Vines of Casper, Wyoming, Levi Vines of Douglas, and Connor Vines of Fort Carson, Colorado; nephew, Bradly Vines of Douglas; three brothers, Dan Vines of Douglas, Don Vines of Moore, Oklahoma, and Skeeter Hill of Spokane; nine grandchildren, Cheyli Koltyn, Quincee Jo, Kia McKenzie, Aydenn, Sabastion, Malakai, Ariah, Penelope, and Elias; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The Gorman Funeral Homes – Converse Chapel of Douglas, Wyoming is in charge of the arrangements.
