FLORENCE KING Obituary
A funeral service for Florence June King, 81, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, October 27, 2011 at the Gorman Funeral Homes – Converse Chapel in Douglas, Wyoming with Pastor Frank Wiederrecht of The Gathering officiating .
Florence King died Friday, October 21, 2011 at the Memorial Hospital of Converse County in Douglas, Wyoming.
She was born June 4, 1930 in Fort Collins, Colorado the daughter of John and Mary (Gerlach) Kling. She was raised and educated in Riverton, Wyoming. She has resided in Douglas since 1965. She worked as a bartender at the Saddle Rock, Oasis, and LaBonte . She has been married to Richard Wayne “Dick” King the past 25 years.
She enjoyed collecting dolls, knitting, and tending to her yard and garden.
She is survived by her husband, Dick, of Douglas; children, Patty (Jeff) Bryan Sr. of Fairchild, Wisconsin, Wayne Barrett of Douglas, Tim Barrett of Douglas, and Ron Stork of Fort Collins; daughter-in-law, Karen Caton of Douglas; grandchildren, Chantel Hazeley, Alisa Bryan, Angela Barrett, Amanda Barrett, Sabrina Stork, Becky Stork, Jeff Bryan Jr., and Bobby Stork; and six great grandchildren.
Florence was preceded in death by her parents; her oldest son, Clyde Barrett; and great granddaughter, Ryan Michelle Hall.
A memorial to the choice of the donor would be appreciated by the family.
