GRACE EILEEN (KING) STRAHAN

Grace Eileen Strahan was born March 7, 1926 to Emmet and Ada King, in Newport Township, Lake County, Illinois.  She passed away peacefully Monday, April 7, 2025 in Wheatland, Wyoming at the age of 99.

Grace married William L. Strahan in 1946.  She and Bill raised eight children and were married for 73years until his death in 2019 at the age of 101.

She was an avid reader, an excellent cook, and enjoyed gardening. As an award-winning artist, Grace produced many paintings which are part of public and private collections.

Grace was preceded in death by her son, Gary, in November of 2012. 

She is survived by her children, Kathy Strom, Joel Strahan, Janet Haley, Priscilla Smith, Paul Strahan, Will Strahan, and Jonathan Strahan.

Her ashes will be interred at Hickory Union Cemetery in Antioch Illinois following a memorial service later this summer.
