Harold E. “Fuzzy” Wright, 68, passed away on Monday, June 14, 2021 leaving his many friends and loved ones.
Fuzzy was born to Harold and Lottie (Harsey) Wright on Sunday, October 5, 1952 in Augusta, Georgia. The family moved to Missouri when Fuzzy was at a young age.
The railroad brought him to Wyoming in the 1970’s. He worked as a brakeman, conductor, and switchman during his 43 year career and was a proud United Transportation Union member.
Fuzzy played Santa Claus for many years and for many events. He and Mrs. Claus (Penny Wells) were quite possibly the best duo to perform that job.
He was a member of the Hartville Volunteer Fire Department for at least twelve years.
An avid gun enthusiast, Fuzzy loved everything to do with guns, from holstars to ammo to the actual gun.
He is survived by his wife, Pam Wright; son, Richie (Shiloh) Wright; five grandsons; one granddaughter; sister, Marty (Joe) Ostermann of Brookfield, Missouri; two nieces; one nephew; stepchildren, Misty, Jon, and Ty Witham; additional five grandsons; and one great grandson; Beth’s three children and their families; and brothers by choice, Kent Cooper, Mark Schlegel, and Reno Andrews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Susan and Leroy; and wife, Beth.
Donations in Fuzzy’s memory to the Hartville Fire Department, Shriner’s Hospital, or to the animal rescue would be appreciated by the family.
There will be a celebration of life for Fuzzy at Kelley’s Bar, Sunday, June 27, 2021 starting at 1:00 P.M. Renee and “Kelley’s” girls were special to him.
Cremation has taken place with the scattering of his ashes to take place in the fall.
Fuzzy will be missed incredibly by all who loved him.
Gorman Funeral Homes - Platte Chapel are in charge of the arrangements.
