James Dylan Bromley was born in Elko Nevada to Robert James O'Brien and Etenn Marie Edsill on Saturday, May 23, 1992.
He left this world unexpectedly Friday, December 4, 2020 in Douglas.
James moved in with his maternal grandparents, James Floyd Bromley and Rebecca Lee Bromley, at age four. They would adopt him in 2003. While he had always been a child of their hearts, he became their son legally.
James attended school in Battle Mountain, Nevada and Douglas, Wyoming. He loved to travel and experience new things. He lived in Nevada, Idaho, and Wyoming. He was planning to move to Iowa in January.
James loved fishing, spending as much time on the bank of a lake or river as he could. He had a circle of loving friends from every place he lived. He helped anyone who was in need. He gave freely of whatever he had; never turning a deaf ear to anyone who needed a friend.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Bromley, on June 7, 2014; his grandparents, especially his beloved Gramma Shirley Juhl; and his Uncle James O'Brien.
He is survived by his mother, Rebecca Bromley, of Bill; his daughter, Juniper Beatrice Ross, of Douglas; his biological parents, Robert and Melodie O'Brien of Douglas and Etenn and Mark Neese of Douglas; his sisters, Maria and Misty Lane of Bill and Angela Austin of Douglas; his niece, Izabella Michelle Rose Lane, of Bill; his nephew, Anton Austin Good of Glenrock; his paternal grandparents, Gloria Jean and David Joseph Schumacher of Ipswich South Dakota; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Thank you, God, for the gift of this wonderful soul and thank you that he is now at peace in your arms.
