Obituary
A Celebration of Life service for James Lee Gaskins, 69, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at the Calvary Baptist Church in Douglas, Wyoming with Pastor Matthew A. Roberts officiating.
James Gaskins died Monday, March 20, 2023 at the Central Wyoming Hospice Home in Casper, Wyoming.
He was born on Tuesday, July 21, 1953 in Peoria, Illinois the son of Samuel Levi and Patricia Ann (Murphy) Gaskins.
James worked as a welder, mechanic, and dragline operator at various mines in Wyoming.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Samuel P. Gaskins, on April 26, 1984.
James’ surviving family of Douglas is his wife of almost of 50 years, Penny B. Gaskins and his sons, Kanyon L. Gaskins and Seth P. Gaskins and family, Sabrina, Skye Phoenix, Briseis A., and Athena A. Gaskins. He is also survived by his parents, Samuel and Patricia Gaskins; brother, Robert D. Gaskins and family, Nadine Gaskins, Jeremy Gaskins and family, and Cory Gaskins and family; and sister, Lori A. Gaskins and her husband, Michaeal Gastons and their sons, Joshua Gastons, Matthew Gastons and family, and Gabriel Gastons and family
