Obituary
A remembrance service for James Dean Luchsinger, 59, will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 the Commodore Bar in Wheatland Wyoming.
A hardworking talented man, James passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at his home in Wheatland.
James was born on Monday, July 8, 1963 in Laramie, Wyoming, the son of Elton (Lucky) Dean Luchsinger and Beverly June (Engstrom) Luchsinger.
Survivors include his brother, Michael Luchsinger; sister; Dina (Luchsinger) Johnson; and niece; Mikayla Johnson.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dean Luchsinger and mother, Beverly Luchsinger. James graduated from Wheatland High School in 1982. After graduating he enlisted in the Army. He served two years. Later attended WYOTEC. The remainder of his career was spent at Basin Electric Power Cooperative Laramie River Station.
James’s hobbies included hunting, fishing, road trips on his Harley Davidson motorcycle, and visiting with his friends. He will be remembered by friends and family for his kind and loving personality and his love for the Wyoming countryside.
