JANICE C. (SANN) SMITH

OBITUARY 

Janice C. (Sann) Smith passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at the age of 86 from extended medical conditions after suffering a stroke. 

She grew up in San Diego, California with fond memories of time spent at the beach. She was proud to be the first in her family to graduate high school and attend college. Janice was an avid hand quilter and greatly enjoyed corresponding with pen pals across the country. She also loved cooking, gardening, hiking, John Wayne movies, John Denver music, and always her endearing group of chickens.  

Janice was married to Jay Smith, from Florida, for 50 years. She said her goal in life was to be the best mother to her children. Janice and Jay are survived by their four children Carole, Daniel, Donald, and Sharon.
