Jason “Boog” Howell, was born in Douglas, Wyoming to Frank Howell and Melinda Wisser on Monday, November 27, 1978. He graduated from Douglas High School in 1998 and moved to Casper a few years later, where he built a life and found a community he loved.
Jason was known for his big heart and quirky personality. He thrived in nature and made it a central part of his life, which led him to a fulfilling career with Altitude Landscaping and Seamless Gutter. He took pride in his work, often being the first to arrive and always keeping busy with side projects.
Curious and hands-on, Jason loved taking things apart just to understand how they worked. He found joy in the outdoors, music, photography, fitness, and spending time with friends and family. His ability to bring a smile to others left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his mother, Melinda (Dan) Wisser and siblings, Cody Snider, Stacy Goddard, Misty Howell, Michael Hershberger, Rick Howell, and Robert Howell.
Jason was preceded in death by his father, Frank, on December 23, 2013.
Serving as pallbearers were Michael Hershberger, Rick Howell, Alex Howell, Robert Howell, Jeremy Shearer, and Jim Meissen.
The Gorman Funeral Homes-Converse Chapel of Douglas, Wyoming is in charge of the arrangements.
