JEFFREY THOMAS GRUCELLA

A celebration of life service will be held for Jeffrey Thomas Grucella, 66, at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, October 25, 2025 at the Gorman Funeral Homes-Converse Chapel, 1147 Cheyenne Street, Douglas, Wyoming with Pastor Matt Fox of Unity Christian Fellowship officiating.

Jeffrey T. Grucella passed away at his home in Douglas on Friday, October 10, 2025.

He was born Tuesday, July 21, 1959 in Akron, Ohio the son of Thomas and Shirley (Henderson) Grucella. 

Jeffrey was with Karen Rose (Terry) Werner for a few years prior to their marriage in 1987 in Gillette, Wyoming.  They moved from Bullhead City, Arizona to Douglas in 2001, where he resided until the time of his death.

He worked as a safety manager and explosive technician, which he thoroughly enjoyed, in the mining industry.

Jeffrey enjoyed listening to music and art.  He had undeniable love for his wife, Karen.  He could be very stubborn, but at the same time be very kind to everyone.

He is survived by his sons, Josh Werner of Moore, Oklahoma, Chris Werner of Spring Creek, Nevada, and Jeffrey Daniel Grucella of Douglas; siblings, Judith “Judi” Grucella of Bend, Oregon, Christina “Chris” Grucella of Portland, Oregon, Kathleen “Kathy” Grucella of Astoria, Oregon, and David “Dave” Grucella of Happy Valley, Oregon; eleven grandchildren; and Karen’s siblings, Chip Terry of Douglas, Dorothy Joel of Spring Creek, Nevada, and Kathy Terry of Wells, Nevada.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Karen, on July 31, 2025; and brother, Daniel J. “Dan” Grucella on October 17, 2024.

The Gorman Funeral Homes-Converse Chapel of Douglas, Wyoming is in charge of the arrangements.
