JEREMIAH WALLER Obituary

Jeremiah Joseph Waller

Jeremiah Joseph Waller, a deeply dedicated family man, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at his home in Rolling Hills, Wyoming. He was 46 years old.

Jeremiah was born on January 16, 1979, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He spent his formative years in Citrus Heights, California, where he developed the easygoing and kind demeanor that would define his life.

A Life Dedicated to Family and Service

Jeremiah's defining quality was his unwavering dedication and fierce protection of his family. This dedication extended to his children and step-daughter, whom he embraced fully. His willingness to extend that kindness to perfect strangers was remarkable; he easily befriended everyone who crossed his path.

Jeremiah began his career as a Correctional Officer with the State of California Department of Corrections before medically retiring in 2012. He then continued his commitment to service and hard work by entering the trucking industry. He spent the last year of his life working as a city driver for SAIA, having driven for various freight companies after retiring from corrections.

He possessed an "old soul" and had a lifelong love for music, which he often sang aloud, perfectly in sync with his children. He cherished a good laugh and loved sharing corny "dad" jokes. A cherished family tradition, learned from his grandfather and passed to his own children, was his favorite joke when passing a cemetery: "People are just dying to get in there."

Jeremiah was a man of deep faith, finding love and community with his family at the Fiddletown Community Church in Fiddletown, California. He loved Jesus and lived a life guided by a desire to help anyone in need.

Jeremiah is survived by his beloved wife, Gina C. Waller, of Rolling Hills, Wyoming; his loving children, Aden J. Waller and Evelyn G. Waller; and his step-daughter, Alisiana R. He was preceded in death by his father, Terry Vance Waller.
