A funeral service for Joanne Jane Mason, 81, will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at the First Christian Church in Wheatland, Wyoming with Pastor Casey Schroeder officiating.  The service will be live streamed at https://client.tribucast.com/tcid/5901385584
Joanne Mason passed away on Monday, April 11, 2022 at her home in Wheatland. She was born on Monday, April 15, 1940.
Joanne met her husband, Richard Mason in February of 1995 in Torrington, Wyoming. They were married on July 6, 1996. Between them they had six children, seven grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. Joanne went to Torrington to study to be veterinarian technician. She also ran a boarding kennel for a number of years and worked as a nurse’s aide at the Wheatland Nursing Home for about ten years. She had a love for flowers and people and was a member of the First Christian Church.
Joanne is survived by her husband, Richard Mason of Wheatland; her daughters, Carmen and Sheila; grandchildren, Carly Raye, Jacob Dakota, Gabriel James, Carolyn Joanne, George Edward, Kristin Hope, and Julia Ann; and great grandchildren, Miriam, Micah, Layla, Lorelei, Ashton, Evelyn, Peri, and Kai.

The Gorman Funeral Homes – Platte Chapel of Wheatland are in charge of the arrangements.
