KAREN ROSE (TERRY) GRUCELLA

A celebration of life service will be held for Karen Rose Grucella, 66, at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, August 7, 2025 at the Gorman Funeral Homes-Converse Chapel, 1147 Cheyenne Street, Douglas, Wyoming with Pastor Bill Williamson of the First Baptist Church officiating.

Karen Grucella peacefully passed away at her home in Douglas on Thursday, July 31, 2025.

She was born Wednesday, May 20, 1959 in Belle Fourche, South Dakota the daughter of Charles George and Ardella rose (Fowlkes) Terry. 

Karen was with Jeffrey Thomas Grucella for a few years prior to their marriage in 1987 in Gillette, Wyoming. They moved from Bullhead City, Arizona to Douglas in 2001, where she resided until the time of her death.

She loved and enjoyed gardening, bird watching, rock hunting, and music.

Karen is survived by her husband, Jeff Grucella, of Douglas; sons, Josh Werner of Moore, Oklahoma, Chris Werner of Spring Creek, Nevada, and Jeffrey Daniel Grucella of Douglas; siblings, Chip Terry of Douglas, Dorothy Joel of Spring Creek, Nevada, and Kathy Terry of Wells, Nevada; and eleven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, George, on March 28, 2003 and her mother, Rose, on March 18, 2003.            

The Gorman Funeral Homes-Converse Chapel of Douglas, Wyoming is in charge of the arrangements.
