KATHERINE ANN "KATHI" (JOHNSON) DIEHL

No funeral service will be held for Katherine Ann “Kathie” Diehl, 73.

Kathie Diehl died at her home near Douglas, Wyoming on Wednesday, February 10, 2021.

She was born Sunday, April 20, 1947 in Douglas, Wyoming the daughter of Arnold Ruben and Dorothy Margaret (Crowe) Johnson.  She was raised and educated in Douglas and graduated from the Douglas High School.  She attended and received her registered nurse certificate from Casper College in Casper, Wyoming.  She worked her entire nursing career in Douglas, retiring in 2009.  She enjoyed gardening and her animals.

She is survived by her daughters, Traci Sepulveda of Douglas, Jamie (Mike) Etchemendy of Miles City, Montana, and Heather (Kevin) Russell of Nashville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Michael Warren, Jennifer Garcia, Stephanie Jenkins, Sara Swan, Rachel Watts, James Jenkins, Marty Etchemendy, Meagan Etchemendy, Garrett Etchemendy, Allison Russell, and Emma Russell; and several great grandchildren.

Kathie was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Oliver Diehl Sr. on July 30, 2003; father, Arnold, on January 20, 1969; mother, Dorothy Gillespie, on January 17, 2007; daughter, Kelli Ann Warren, on February 22, 1995; sister, Carol Spaulding, on February 9, 2010; son-in-law, Marcelino Mervin “Marc” Sepulveda, on October 28, 2013; and grandson, Jake Ronald Jenkins, on December 25, 1991.
