KATHREN ELAINE "KATHY" (DAUGHERTY) REEVES

A graveside service will be held for Kathren Elaine “Kathy” Reeves, 65, at 1:00 P.M. Friday, July 30, 2021 at the Glenrock Cemetery in Glenrock, Wyoming with Pastor Rick Bishop of the Community Baptist Church in Glenrock officiating.

Kathy Reeves died Thursday, July 15, 2021 at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming.

Kathy was born Monday, December 12, 1955 in Peoria, Illinois the daughter of Joseph and Betty (Melvin) Daugherty.  She was raised and educated in Illinois, and the family moved to Wyoming to the Shirley Basin area in 1970.  They then moved to Glenrock in 1972 where she resided until her death.  She married Gary Gene Reeves on August 17, 1973 in Casper, Wyoming.  Kathy’s working career included working at Decker Coal for four years, Walmart for fifteen years, and Kmart for four years. 

She enjoyed riding horses, crocheting edges around blankets, and her cats.  She was a hard worker and was helpful to those in need.  Kathy loved her family.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Reeves, of Glenrock; children, Gary Gene Reeves Jr. of Worland, Wyoming and Mark Anthony Reeves, Casey Allen Reeves, and Kelly Ann Reeves all of Glenrock; siblings, Terry, Tina, and Chris; and grandchildren, Emily, Kaden, and Carsyn Reeves.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents.
