KEITH EDWARD HAMMOND

Keith Edward Hammond was born on Thursday, May 10, 1984, in Greeley, Colorado, to Jeffrey Keith and Carlene Elizabeth (Stinson) Hammond.

He passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, outside of Douglas, Wyoming, while at work.

He is survived by his parents, Jeffrey and Carlene Hammond of Casper, Wyoming; the love of his life, Paige Harris of Casper, Wyoming; his children Ashton Hammond, Alicia Hammond, Breckyn Hammond, Gabriella Hammond, and Adelia Hammond, all of Casper, Wyoming; siblings Robin Paulsen of Casper, Wyoming, Krisandra (Brandon) Lally of Indiana, Samantha Hammond (Kevin Geist) of Casper, Wyoming, Kyle Hammond (Kristina Flores) of Casper, Wyoming, and Nickolas and Jacqueline Proebstel of Montana; grandmother Patricia Proebstel of Montana; nieces and nephews, Damion (Mya) Howle, Cole (Halee) Paulsen, Bo Paulsen, Naomi Lally, Brandon Lally Jr., Nicholas Lally, Kaydence Geist, Joshua Hammond, McKenzie Geist, Ostra Hammond, Corbin Hewitt, Erykah Hewitt, and Thomas Hewitt; and many aunts, uncles, other family members, and friends also survive him. 

Keith was happiest when he was spending time with his large family. You could often find him sleeping at family gatherings. Keith had a great sense of humor that left you speechless. He could always be found on his BMX bike in his younger days. He enjoyed fishing, eating, watching football with his dad, anything that involved his children, and riding his one-wheel. His last adventure was taking his best friend, Adelia, on a four-mile ride on his one-wheel while she joined him on her scooter. Keith was a hard-working family who always sacrificed to provide for his family. 

After the tragic loss of his nephew, Cruz Paulsen, Keith's approach to expressing his love underwent a profound change. He became more vocal about his love, never parting without saying 'I love you' or giving a big bear hug. 

Keith was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, LaRoy and Helen Hammond; maternal grandparents, Carl and Helen Stinson; granddad, Graham Proebstel; his biological father, Jeff Proebstel; aunts, Linda Jones and Kathy Womack; brother, Jeffrey Hammond Jr., and nephew, Cruz Paulsen. 

Details about Keith Edward Hammond's memorial services are being finalized and will be announced later.
