Linda Lee Gebhart (Artery), age 76, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 17, 2026 in Mesa, Arizona following a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.
Linda was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She made her home in Wheatland, Wyoming, and Mesa, where she built a life centered on family, friendship, and community.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Kohn and Corky Artery and her beloved grandparents, Gramps and Grandma Mary Wilson.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jerry; sons, Darren (Stefani), Brandon (Jeannie), and Jason (Wendy); daughter, Judy (Dave) Stone; her cherished grandchildren, Wilson (Taylor), Braxton (Kathleen) Stone, Peighton Stone, Taylor, Hayden, Finn, Reagan, and Lachlan; great-granddaughter, Parker; brothers, David (Susan) Artery and Dan (Denise) Artery; and numerous nephews and nieces.
Linda found great joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved golfing, playing softball, camping, and most of all spending time with her friends and family. Her laughter, warmth, and competitive spirit made every gathering brighter.
Linda’s professional career started as a legal secretary for her good friend and mentor, Don Sherard, a career that lasted over 20 years.
Linda was also deeply passionate about her career with Mary Kay Cosmetics, where she took pride in her work and the relationships she built along the way. Her dedication, drive, and ability to connect with others left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Linda will be remembered for her strength, kindness, and unwavering love for her family. She leaves behind a legacy of devotion, friendship, and joy that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at the First Christian Church in Wheatland, Wyoming with Pastor Casey Schroeder officiating. Lunch will follow the service.
The family will also host a gathering at 6:00 P.M. Saturday, February 28, 2026 at The Office, 160 King Street #100 Cheyenne, Wyoming 82007.
