LORETTA M (TAYLOR) DETRICK

Loretta M. Detrick, 90, passed away on Monday, June 12, 2023 at the Platte County Legacy Home in Wheatland, Wyoming.

Loretta Detrick was born on Thursday, March 2, 1933 in Ellensburg, Washington the daughter of Almon and Ruth (Smith) Taylor.

Loretta was one of twelve sisters and brothers.  She was a twin but, they lost her twin at birth.  She was a simple woman that loved to care for others.   She was known for her garden and giving it all to people that would enjoy her hard work of canning.  She was also a baker and made the most delicious bread and cookies that were also gifts to others.  Loretta loved caring for other but she especially loved caring for her family. 

Loretta is survived by her daughters, Rose Marie Isabel and Sally Whinery; grandchildren, Tiffany, Samantha, Jaimie, Dakota, Craig Anthony, and Michael; great grandchildren, Harley, Abbie, Mya, Lanna, Jaidyn, Kyliegh, and Alex.
