MANUEL BARTOLIO PRADO

Funeral services for Manuel Bartolio Prado, 76, will be held at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, June 8, 2023 at the Gorman Funeral Homes-Converse Chapel in Douglas, Wyoming.  Inurnment will be in the Douglas Park Cemetery.

Manuel died Monday, December 5, 2022 at the Ohio State University Hospitals in Columbus, Ohio.

He was born Thursday, October 10 1946 in Torrington, Wyoming. The sixth child of Pete Sabas Prado Sr. and Rosario (Rodriguez) Prado.  He grew up in Fort Laramie, Wyoming and Douglas, Wyoming, where he graduated from the Douglas High School in 1966.  He serviced in the Wyoming National Guard, and later pursued his love of music and hairdressing.  He moved to Ohio in 1986 where he took up photography.

He was preceded in death by his father Pete, on June 13, 1988; mother, Rosa, on March 26, 1994; and sisters, Rose Mary and Ermelinda.

Manuel is survived by two daughters, Trina and Kendra both of Casper, Wyoming, brothers, sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews.  

The Gorman Funeral Homes – Converse Chapel of Douglas, Wyoming is in charge of the arrangements.
