Marcia A. White passed away on Thursday July 27, 2023, at the Clearwater Assisted Living in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Marcia was born to Dale and Carol (Dynes) Von Wald on Thursday, January 6, 1938 in Aberdeen, South Dakota.
While attending Aberdeen Central High School in 1954, Marcia met the love of her life, Paul White. Following graduation and their marriage in Aberdeen in 1957, the couple moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota. Following Dr. White’s graduation from Chiropractic college in 1962, the couple purchased Dr. White’s cousin's chiropractic practice and moved to Douglas.
Paul, Marcia and family started Nutri-West, a nutrition manufacturing company, to provide supplements to his family and patients. The company rapidly expanded into an international nutritional company with worldwide distribution. In 1995, Paul and Marcia purchased the Fort Fetterman Ranch, where they started producing alfalfa hay and raising Black Angus cattle. In 1997, Nutri-West was purchased by Paul and Marcia's children and continues to flourish under their management. In 2007, Paul and Marcia purchased a winter home in Las Cruces, New Mexico, to enjoy their semi-retirement. After the passing of Dr. White, Marcia sold the family ranch and settled into the warmer climate of Scottsdale, Arizona.
Marcia was the essence of goodness and genuine humanity. Her beauty will never be extinguished from our minds. Marcia was so very much loved by all within the Nutri-West Family. For many of us she was also a close friend and wonderful mentor. Her honest attitude, strength and knowledge inspired many of us and she will be missed tremendously. Marcia will be lovingly remembered by everyone who knew her and by so many who were honored to know of her.
She is survived by her children, Paul Anthony White II (Tony) and his wife, Penny, Michele Franchesca Lisco-Ediss and her husband, Dr. Steve Ediss, and Tiffany Ann Moore and her fiancé Bryan Worrall; eight grandchildren, Megan Lisco-Forgey (J.C.), Chelsea Moore, Paul Anthony White III, Jordan Lisco (Shalyn Lackey), Andrew White (Lauren), Taylor Lisco (Riley), Cooper Moore (Anjelica Roxas), and Austin White; and four great grandchildren; Mallory, Findley, Blakely, and Bayne.
Marcia was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Paul White, on October 17, 2009; her mother and father; and grandson, Casey Michael Moore, on May 26, 1996.
Serving as pallbearers will be all of her grandchildren.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Pat Hand, Warren Sonaty, Dave Thompson, Skip Kilpatrick, Ed Ricks, Ross Gorman, Ben Markham, and Mike Hissam.
