MARGARET E. MEMMER

A graveside service for Margaret E. Memmer, 91, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, August 14, 2021 at the Wheatland Cemetery in Wheatland, Wyoming.  Please bring your own lawn chair to sit in for the service at the cemetery.

Margaret Memmer passed away on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at Platte County Legacy Home in Wheatland.

Margaret Memmer was born on Sunday, October 27, 1929 to Glen and Ella (Hilton) Ryman in Morris County, Dunlap, Kansas. She attended the 72 school and Dunlap High School where she was active in music and lettered four years in basketball.

Margaret graduated in 1947, then attended Brown-Mackie College. She met Bob in Kentucky and they married in September, 1951 before Bob was shipped to Korea. Upon his return from active duty, they moved to Wheatland.

She was a member of Eastern Star and a past Matron of O.E.S. She worked at the hospital for 38 and a half years. She loved to play bridge and other card games.

She is survived by her two sons, Scot of Wheatland and Blaine (Diane) of Buffalo, Wyoming; three grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and one sister.
