Martin Kamrath Sr., 76, passed on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at his home near Glenrock, Wyoming with his loving family at his bedside.
Martin was born Monday, July 28, 1947 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War where he received an honorable discharge.
He was the beloved husband of Virginia D Kamrath for over 40 years. A loving father and mentor to Kimberly and Marty Kamrath and grandfather of Skylar and Brooks Kamrath.
Martin was a proud entrepreneur owning various businesses throughout his lifetime, but found his passion providing insurance to customers around the Casper area for 30 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors, but his favorite hobby was to tinker and be creative in his shop. Martin loved conversing and sharing his life stories for anyone wanting to sit down with him.
He was preceded in death to his father and mother, Martin and Eileen Kamrath, and his daughter, Kimberly Ann Kamrath.
Marty was a man with great creativity and imagination, he always had an idea or plan for something. He could create something so useful and meaningful from so little, and that’s how he built his life. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
The Gorman Funeral Homes – Converse Chapel of Douglas, Wyoming assisted the family with the arrangements.
