MARY FRANCINE (CURTIS) WELLMAN

A visitation for family and friends will be held for Mary Francine Wellman, 51, at the Gorman Funeral Homes – Converse Chapel in Douglas, Wyoming on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.

Mary Wellman passed away unexpectedly Thursday, August 6, 2020 in Douglas. 

She was born Friday, July 18, 1969 in Tucson, Arizona to Robert Thornton and Madeline Francine (Pfoser) Curtis.  Mary grew up in Darnestown, Maryland and after 23 years moved to Connecticut where she raised her family.  In 2017 she moved to Douglas where she spent the remainder of her years.

Mary was a tremendously kind, generous, and loving person.  She always went out of her way to care for her family and friends.  Mary was known for her ability to organize and bring her large family together.  Mary was deeply loved by everyone in her life and will be missed profoundly. .

Mary is survived by her two daughters, Christine DelGreco and Madeline DelGreco of Farmington, Connecticut; husband, Michael Wellman of Douglas; brother, John Curtis and his wife Pauline Guiragoss of Baltimore, Maryland; brother, William Curtis and his wife Suki Tinks of Port Orange, Florida; and nephew, Emanuel Curtis of Baltimore, Maryland.

The Gorman Funeral Homes – Converse Chapel of Douglas, Wyoming is in charge of the arrangements.
